Also, she played Chloe Lake, in Based on a True Story, a comedy-thriller by Peacock and in Yes, God, Yes, Velvet Buzzsaw, Things Heard & Seen, and the film Based on a True Story. Stranger Things, Netflix's 2016 horror-drama, was her big break. Dyer won co-star in the Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble on a Drama Series on Monday, January 29, 2017 at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards.
